Meridians
Over 5,000 years ago, the Chinese discovered and identified twelve acupuncture meridians along which energy travels in the human body. Meridians are the invisible channels through which qi circulates throughout the body. The acupuncture points are the locations where the chi (the Chinese term for energy) of the channels rise close to the surface of the body. There are 12 main meridians, six of which are yin and six are yang and numerous minor ones, which form a network of energy channels throughout the body. Each meridian is related to, and named after, an organ or function. The twelve primary meridians are: Yin Meridians
Yang Meridians
When Chi flows freely through the meridians, the body is balanced and healthy, but if the energy becomes blocked, stagnated or weakened, it will cause an imbalance in the meridian system and can result in physical, mental or emotional ill health. Environmental factors such as cold, damp/humidity, wind, dryness, and heat can also cause imbalance so as factors such as wrong diet, overwork and too much exercise and emotional trauma. Energetically, meridians can be
Through vibrational therapy I test for these issues and reconnect, unblock and balance each meridian while ensuring that each associated organ and gland is capable of receiving 100% of its available meridian life force energy. Many of my clients who have turned to acupuncture for relief tell me their acupuncture treatments were vastly more effective after I used vibrational therapy on their meridians. Why? Because reconnecting, unblocking and balancing prepared the meridian system to accept the healing offered by acupuncture. The energy is able to travel freely through a solid, clear, harmonious system!
